Air Conditioning Systems

For your year-round home comfort and convenience, we supply, install, and service all types of cooling equipment. Are you interested in installing a ductless mini-split air conditioning system or adding central air to your existing warm air furnace? Is your existing cooling system in need of a repair or maintenance? Call us at (570) 286-6378 for more information on the air conditioning products we supply, to schedule an installation of a new system, or for service to your current cooling system. We provide high-efficiency air conditioning products and dependable maintenance services to homes and businesses throughout Pennsylvania’s Union County, Snyder County, and Northumberland County.

Heat Pumps

Installing a ductless heat pump is one of the most efficient and affordable ways to provide year-round home comfort in Pennsylvania. These systems use a small amount of energy to create hot or cool air inside your home by extracting it from the air outside your home. During the cooling season, heat from the outdoors is converted through the heat pump to form cool air in your home; the process works reversely during the heating season. With the ductless system, you do not have the losses or dirt from conventional duct work.

If you heat your home with electricity, a heat pump can reduce the amount of electricity you use for heating by as much as 30% to 40%!

Certified Backflow Testing and Repair

Backflow devices are designed to maintain water quality by keeping pollutants and contaminates from entering the drinking water supply.

The PA DEP model of an ordinance for the control of backflow and cross-connections states the purpose of this ordinance is as follows:

  1. To protect the public water supply from contamination of pollution by isolating, within the consumer’s water system, contaminants or pollutants which could backflow through the service connection into the public water system
  2. To promote the elimination or control of existing cross-connections, actual or potential, between the public or consumer’s water supply and non-potable water systems, plumbing fixtures, and sources or systems containing process fluids
  3. To provide for the maintenance and continuation of a cross-connection control program which prevents the contamination or pollution of the public and consumer’s water supply

At Matt’s Mechanical Service, we believe it’s important to offer this service and to keep our community safe.
